Artist Statement
In my practice, I immerse myself deeply in the expressive potential of mixed media, allowing each piece to evolve as a dense tapestry of visual narratives, mostly influenced by the intricate beauty of florals and the fundamental elements of design. My work is an exploration of contrasts and harmonies, where the organic forms of nature meet the structured principles of design, creating a unique dialogue between the two. Using a wide array of materials, from watercolors to acrylics to pens and digital drawings, I am interest in bridging traditional and contemporary techniques. As a self-taught artist, I have spent over a decade exploring and experimenting with paint develop my own unique style. Through years of trial and error, I have discovered my authentic voice, which is characterized by bold, gestural mark-making, vibrant colors, and playful textures.
